Braden Hammond is a lamp working glass artist living and working in Vancouver and we are excited to feature his glass art and jewellery in the studio. He began his journey as a Glassblower in 2003 at Santa Cruz Art and Glass Studio. From that moment, he was hooked on the beauty of art glass and the endless possibilities for it's use. He is passionate about manipulating molten glass with his bare hands and creating his one of a kind glasswares. Braden has learned from and worked in collaboration with glassblowers from California, Seattle, South Carolina, colorado, Vancouver Island, and Vancouver. Through continuous practice and studying the westcoast borosilicate glass movement. Through continuous practice and growth, Braden has developed his own style of glass application. Braden's current work focuses on fashion. Currently, Braden can be found in his studio in Vancouver, BC. Ion Art Glass. Ion Tămâian, one of the two associated owners of the "Ion Art Glass" firm, founded in February,1992, is not just a mere worker in the glass processing domain. First of all, he's one very special glass artist, owner of an artistic degree obtained in 1982 when graduating the Academy of Fine Arts "Ion Andreescu" in Cluj-Napoca, as well as represented by his fine arts exceptional performance, most appreciated in many prestigious group or individual, national or international exhibitions. Having been a very prolific creator of fine arts, for a whole decade (1982-1992) his artistic works in the artistic glass domain, defined by vast and elaborate innovative applications in this field, have been shown to art consumers in Romania, while visiting the art-glass galleries in Sibiu, Cluj-Napoca, Baia Mare, Bucureşti, as well as abroad. "Ion Art Glass" products - singles or short series, specially designed due to their shape and chromatics - can be admired in the fine art galleries both in the country and in some foreign firms' galleries in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Norway, France, the United States of America, and Out of the Fire Studio in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
